On a mission to change the stigma around mental health
We believe good mental health is for everyone. We aim to educate, empower and support people to better understand their mental health and wellbeing to give them the confidence and tools to face life’s challenges.
Wellbeing Talks
Our wellbeing talks have taken us all over South Wales and given us the opportunity to share our mental health and wellbeing presentation at schools, businesses and sports teams.
Tidy Butt Library
We have compiled a growing list of resources for the Tidy Butt Library giving you articles, techniques and videos that can provide the spark to help improve your mental health.
Community Events
We look forward to welcoming our community back to our mental health support events where we organise wellness walks and group cold water dipping sessions.
Talking helps!
Our mental health and wellbeing presentations have taken us all over South Wales and given Tidy Butt the opportunity to share experiences, provide support and education with schools, businesses and sports clubs.
Tidy Butt was founded to create a positive environment for people to talk
Since its creation in 2020 by founder Matthew Creel, Tidy Butt has grown from a private Facebook group for people to share their experiences with issues around mental health to a registered charity.
Matthew joined forces with an old teammate and former Welsh Rugby international Rhys Thomas, who had his own struggles with mental health and addiction and mental health practitioner Ross Mahoney to help build Tidy Butt in to what it is today.
